holding awed breath in
facebook of God's family
begging for mercy
on the floor like a Muslim
He in His wisdom and infinite
eternally devoted Father love,
granted it to me
who has lain in slumber in the devil's arms
leaving her brother forsaken.

to reveal, or not,
the torturous question
stand exposed in naked belief
in a world fraught with dissension
persecution no stranger
I willingly stumble in
too broken a creature
to deny my Saviour anything,
forever more.
