I'm on my way to Sydney, where this brief hiatus from blogging will come to an end, its been good to let it go for a while, but ideas and words are pounding my mind demanding release, so a devoted servant, I will be once again.
What is it, about the flights we make, to far-off destinations, that is so magical towards renewal?
The take-off - I love the way everything falls behind with the receding landscape, in flight it is as if our being is in suspended animation, like a cocoon awaiting eruption into a new landscape. Then we land, and our being begins to live again, accumulating impressions and experiences.. we are a lucky generation to be able to do this, it would surely move our evolution forward in ways that would not have been possible before in history.
Among my Big City dreams are the romantic scenery so prolific in Sydney, I'm personally lucky enough to be staying in a great central location, near King's Cross, and there, swinging through the streets on a bus, a slice of life captured on a rich background pops up around every corner, the last time I was in Sydney, there was a woman's arm extended from an upstairs window, sending off a a white dove, and a man on the bus speaking the language of my childhood.
This time I have a health focus too, not that I was really unhealthy on previous trips, but I'm going to yogaing,
and dancing my heart out, as well as having a pint of Guinness at some local watering hole, and coffee in the trendiest place I can find, lol.
Bondi, Bondi too, that ocean-side walk is simply the best!
Circular Quay..the ferries :) can you tell I'm excited? Hahaa!
